This morning I finally made my decision. I’m in for NaNoWriMo 2012!

I have a title and an extremely vague story idea. I believe the first person narrator will be an adult female, but I don’t know her name yet. Not much to go on.

I do know that my first sentence will consist of five words. Only 49,995 to go!

I’ve always charted out the month with daily word count goals on a spreadsheet, but I don’t feel up to all that this year. For a long time, I was pretty sure this would be a good year for me to skip NaNoWriMo. But my mind mulled things over yesterday and this morning’s votive silence yielded what may become my first paragraph.

This will be my seventh NaNoWriMo. We shall see if it will be my seventh win.
