>Bethany’s home! Kirk went with us yesterday to pick her up from college and we caught “Zathura” at matinee prices on the way home. After we unloaded about a hundred pounds of dirty laundry and textbooks, Ariel came over and we watched more movies until the wee hours of the morning. What larks!
A couple of us stayed up until 2:45 watching both disks of “Pride and Prejudice.” It was an excellent production that was faithful to the novel, so it was thoroughly enjoyable. Since it’s not exactly a nail-biting thriller and I knew exactly how it would end, I’m surprised I stayed awake for the entire thing. Even the extended version of “Return of the King” usually puts me out. I caught a few hours of sleep in my recliner before Dave got up and began his busy day. I can’t remember the last time I stayed up that late. It might have been a high school slumber party.
Sleep deprivation definitely impairs concentration.
